A three- day long Book Fair-2019 begins at Gopalganj Poura Park Ground in the city from Thursday.
District Administration Gopalganj organised the fair and the fair continuing till February 23 this month.
As many as 20 stalls set up in the fair. Moklesur Rahman Sarker, Deputy Commissioner (DC), Goaplganj inaugurated the fair as the chief guest and others district level high officials present on the occasion.
Discussion meeting, cultural function, prize distribution etc. included the three days long book fair on the occasion of Ekushey February.

Leaders of different political parties, socio cultural and professional organizations and people from all walks of life gathered at the central Shaheed Minar to pay homage to the Language Movement heroes and placed wreaths one after another. To mark the day, the district administration has chalked out day-long programme including discussion meeting, milad mahfil, poetry recitation, arts
competition for the children and cultural function in the district.
