Court Correspondent :A Dhaka court on Sunday passed order to send BNP Joint Secretary General Aman Ullah Aman to jail in four cases filed with Keraniganj Police Station.Senior Judicial Magistrate Taiyabul Hassan Uzzal passed the order after the BNP leader surrendered before his court seeking bail in the cases.Aman was on High Court (HC) bail in the four cases filed with Keraniganj Police Station. As the term of the HC bail expired, he appeared before the lower court with bail petitions.The cases were filed on charges of vandalizing and torching vehicles, obstructing police while they were performing their duties andexploding crude bombs during shutdown (hartal) and blockade programmes in November last year.Meanwhile, another court of Dhaka granted three BNP leaders bail. They are:Standing Committee Member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy and Aman and its finance affairs secretary Abdus Salam. They secured bail in four other cases filed with Ramna and Shahbagh police stations in the city.Metropolitan Magistrate Asaduzzaman Nur passed the order of bail on a bond of Tk 50,000.
