Staff Reporter :The burial of Aman Momtaz Ahmed, son of BNP standing committee member Moudud Ahmed, would be held beside the grave of his maternal grandfather Pallikobi [rural poet] Jasimuddin in Faridpur today [Thursday]. The namaz-e- janaja of deceased will be held at High Court Mazar premises and after that the body will be taken to Faridpur by a helicopter, Moudud’s Personal Assistant Shahidul Islam confirmed it on Wednesday. Earlier, the body of Aman Momtaz Ahmed was brought to Dhaka boarding a Bangladesh Biman flight yesterday evening. Moudud Ahmed and his wife Hasna Moudud were on the aircraft.After reaching Dhaka, the body was kept at his Gulshan residence. Relatives, well-wishers and party colleagues [of Moudud] placed floral wreaths on the coffin. Later, the body was taken to the mortuary of United Hospital.Shahidul Islam said that the Kulkhwani of Aman Momtaz Ahmed will be held at their Gulshan residence on Friday.
