The 12th anniversary of death of Comrade Amal Sen, a former president of Bangladesh Workers’ Party (BWP), will be observed here today in a befitting manner.
Elaborate programmes have been chalked out by the Amal Sen Smriti Rakkha Committee to observe the day.
As part of the programme, leaders of BWP and other political parties and different cultural organizations will place wreaths at the grave of the late leader on the premises of Bakri secondary school.
A discussion on the ‘Life and Works’ of Comrade Amal Sen will also be held today on the occasion. Workers’ Party President and Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Rashed Khan Menon will address the discussion as chief guest.
