A 12 -day-long alphabet exhibition of over two hundred languages was held yesterday at Chittagong University (CU) Museum on the occasion of 21st February.
CU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury inaugurated the exhibition programme on Wednesday morning.
The exhibition aimed to enrich the language quality to the teachers and students and to research the world languages. In the inaugural speech Vice-Chancellor Iftekahr Uddin said, a Boi Mela (book fair) will be held on the occasion of 21st February from the next year in the university.
`Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina advises to hold a book fair in the campus and following her direction a book fair will be held’ he added.
