Awami League Parliamentary Board (ALPB) is due to meet today to nominate party’s presidential candidate as the tenure of President M Abdul Hamid expires on April 23.
Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will chair the meeting at her Ganabhaban official residence today’s evening, a party press release said on Tuesday.
AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has urged all concerned to join the meeting in time, the release added.
