Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a presumed active operative of the banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Rangpur city on Saturday evening.
“An operational team of the Militancy Prevention Cell of RAB-13 conducted a raid and arrested the JMB operative from the city,” said a press release issued here today by Assistant Director (Media) of RAB-13 and ASP Samuel Sangma.
The alleged militant is identified as Md Rezaul Islam, 21, of Rangpur city.
