BRAHMANBARIA: One Akkas Ali at the village Betbaria in Brahamanbaria has allegedly created a reign of terror causing concern among the peace-loving people in the area .
It is learnt that Akkasa Ali(42) , son of Musa Mia of the same village has been involved in extraction for a long time . Recently, he allegedly demanded money from one Minara Begum when she started construction of a house in the village .
Minara alleged that Akkas along with his associates went to the construction site and demanded huge money and threatened her to kill if she file any case against them .
A complaint has been filed against four people including Akkasa Ali(42) with B’baria Model police station in this regard .
While talking to The New Nation, Investigation Officer of the case Shamsuzzaman said, the matter is still under investigation and action will be taken after that .
