The 138th birth anniversary of Dr Sir Mohammad Iqbal (popularly known as Dr Allama Iqbal), one of the greatest poets of the Urdu and Persian, will be observed today (Monday), said a press release here yesterday.
To mark the day, the Allama Iqbal Society, Bangladesh will hold a seminar on ‘Iqbal’s Contribution in the Independent Movement of the Sub-Continent’ at the VIP conference lounge of National Press Club here at 4 pm.
