TERRORISTS attacks on French capital Paris on Friday evening which is rated as the worst such attack since the World War-II has stunned the nation and shocked the entire world. Simultaneous attacks at six spots including city’s football stadium, popular concert hall, bar and restaurants by eight terrorists in an hour time was the most coordinated barbaric shooting claiming 130 lives and injuring over 355, some of them critically wounded receiving treatment at several hospitals. It is a heinous act and we join the global community in condoning the deaths and condemning the brutal attack on innocent Parisians in a city known as the cultural capital of the world.
We all agree with French President Francois Hollande that it is an act of war let lose on the French nation and the claim of responsibility by Islamic State not only shows their dark face but also the biggest threat that they pose now to the civilized world. It is unbelievable that the French capital initially remained shut and closed for several hours to absorb the shock that it had never seen before and a growing fear is now overpowering many that Paris may not return to its full spirit of liberty and freedom again out of fear and suspicion of this black Friday evening massacre.
Why Paris is coming under frequent bloody attacks is a big question. It saw similar attack in January this year when Islamist radicals stormed the office of Satire Magazine Charlie Hebdu and killed 12 journalists for publishing sclanderous carton of the Prophet of Islam. Those who risk lives to kill others, it is easy to call them insane but that they have also reasons to be angry and revengeful and that must not be realistically ignored.
Many Muslims also protest such killings here and world over as unIslamic and these killings are working against the Muslims.
But it will be wrong to ignore the uncivilized killings of thousands of innocent Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan and elsewhere after nine-eleven attack in US twin towers. The Israelis are killing Palestinians like dogs and cats.
The West and Israel must not go on killing innocent Muslims with impunity while taking actions against terrorist killers. They have to take also ending of innocent Muslim lives seriously.
We also feel that the Western powers responsible should openly express regret for killing thousands of innocent Muslims for peace and reconciliation. Together with we can stop these, insane, outrageous and uncivilized killings without showing arrogance of their superior power.
