District administration in Kishoreganj has taken an elaborate programme to observe the National Mourning Day and 46th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on August, 15 win due respect and solemnity, maintaining health guidelines.
DC office source said all programmes will be observed following the health rules to prevent covid-19 pandemic.
The days programmes include hoisting national flag at half mast, placing wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu, virtual discussion, showing documentary, prize distribution among the winners of various competition, milad and doa mahfill at Collectorate mosque and special prayers in all mosques and others religious institutions.Islamic Foundation, Hindu Kallan Trusti Will be arranged a discussion,Prayers marking the day.

SP in Kishoreganj also said that though there is no security threat ahead of August, 15, but we cann’t rule out any possibility.
