Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq said the present government has been working sincerely to identify and preserve all the ‘killing grounds’ or Bodhyo Bhumi’s of the martyrs of the Liberation War in 1971.
“The government has taken initiatives to preserve the Bodhyo Bhumi’s across the country to let the world know the true history of the martyrs”, he said this on Thursday while inaugurating the Freedom Fighters’ Complex at Magura.
The minister said that the government will provide the freedom fighters with Taka 15,000 as monthly allowance from July 2020.
With Deputy Commissioner Md Ali Akbar in the chair, it was addressed, among others.
