All four matches of the Walton 17th National Cricket League (NCL)–two of the tier-one and another two of the tier two – ended in draw on the 4th and final day of the match at the different venues across the country on Monday.
One minute silence was observed in Fatullah and Khulna venues in honour of the late BCCI President Jagmohan Dalmiya.
Earlier on Sunday, rain spoiled the entire 3rd day’s play of all the four matches without a single ball being bowled.
The tier-one match between Dhaka Metropolis and Rangpur Division, and the tier-two match between Barisal Division and Rajshahi Division could not held on the 3rd and 4th day due to rain in Bogra and Rajshahi venues.
The tier-one match between Khulna Division and Dhaka Division, and the tier two-match between Sylhet Division and Chittagong Division partially played on the 4th and final day in Khulna and Fatullah venues on Monday.
Replying to Dhaka Division’s first innings total 187 runs, Khulna Division resumed the first innings at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna on Monday with overnight total 168 for 4 in 49 overs and finally scored 340 for all in 93.3 overs with night-watch batsman Mohammad Mithun making 87 runs off 138 balls, hitting 10 fours and one six.
Khulna pacer Mustafizur Rahman claimed four Dhaka wickets for 29 runs in 14 overs with five maidens and was adjudged player of the match.
In reply, Dhaka Division opened the 2nd innings in the afternoon and scored 15 for no loss in 6 overs at stumps on the 4th and final day (Monday).

In a tier two match at the Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah, replying to Sylhet Division’s first innings total 352 for 8 (declared), Chittagong Division opened the first innings on the 4th and final day and scored 36 for no loss in 4 overs before the final day’s match was stopped at 2:15 pm for rain.
Ruman Ahmed of Sylhet, who scored 80 runs, was adjudged the player of the match.
