All the District Football Associations (DFA) have agreed to participate in the ensuing Suhrawardy Cup National Under-19 Football and Sher-e-Bangla National Football Championships.
The decision was taken at an Eid reunion and views-exchange meeting of the BFF District Football League Committee at a local hotel in the capital on Monday with committee chairman Manzur Kader in the chair.
BFF and SAFF president Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin was the chief guest at the function which was also attended by Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy as a special guest.
Dhaka Divisional Commissioner Zillur Rahman, Chairman of Nitol Group Abdul Matlub Ahmed and the president and members of Divisional and District Football Associations were also present at the function.
The meeting urged the defaulter districts to complete the Sheikh Kamal Nitol-Tata District Football League as early as possible.
At a meeting on last Saturday, the District Football League Committee of Bangladesh Football Federation decided to start Suhrawardy Cup National Youth Football Championship in next October and the Sher-e-Bangla Cup National Football Championship in December with the participation all district teams.
