Last Friday Alisha Pradhan and Piya Bipasha acted movies Sobar Ajantey and Rudro – The Gangster were released in more than 100 cinema halls across the country. AJ Rana gave direction of Sobar Ajantey, while Sayem Jafar Imami made the movie Rudro- The Gangster. It was Alisha’s third released movie. She played in role of Kajol in the movie. On the other hand, Rudro – The Gangster is Piya Bipsha’s first acted released movie.
Alisha earlier won the hearts of many viewers acting in late Chashi Nazrul Islam’s movies – Bhul Jodi Hoi and Antorongo. But in her third movie Sobar Ajantey, Alisha has proved that she has capability to perform well in role of a simple lady on the screen. Last few days she enjoyed her movie in Dhaka’s Abhishar and Soni and Jinjira’s Gulshan cinema halls along with the general viewers.
While sharing her feelings about the response from her movie Alisha told this correspondent, “I could not believe a large number of viewers would enjoy my movie at the cinema halls. I want to pass journey in film arena with the love from the viewers.”
On the other hand, for the first time Piya Bipasha watched her movie on the screen of cinema hall. She along with her mother visited the Bashundhara’s Cineplex to enjoy her movie last Friday.
While talking about her movie Piya Bipasha told this correspondent, “I could not take part in any promotional campaign of my movie but went to watch it in a cinema hall along with mother on the releasing day of the movie. I was really impressed watching me on the big screen. I am grateful and also give thanks to them who gave me the opportunity to work in this movie.”
Bipasha informed that she feels glad about her performance in debut movie. Within very short days she will take part in shooting of Azizur Rahman’s movie Mati.
Therefore, she has planned to work in another movie titled Moner Jwala, which will be directed by Rakibul Alam Rakib. She will also work in several telefilms and Eid plays, Piya Bipasha said.
