Though he is acting for many years but for the first time noted film actor Aliraj is going to receive the National Film Award.
He started his acting career by name W Anwar in the small screen. But when he acted in Razzak’s movie Shot Bhai Razzak changed his name Raj. After that movie he also acted in many films. But he could not get the National Award.
Aliraj got nomination for the National Film Award to act in Apurbo Rana’s movie Purey Jai Mon.
While sharing his feelings in this regard Aliraj told this correspondent, “I believe it will be my best reward for acting in film industry after a long time. I am grateful to all in this regard. Everybody pray for me as I can remain well with my wife Jhinuk and two children – Smoron and Shorni. I respectfully recall the name of my mentor in film industry, Razzak Bhai.”
Aliraj acted two movies – Jannat directed by Mostafizur Rahman Manik and Sadakalo Prem directed by Shah Alam Mondal- are waiting to release soon. Therefore, he is engaged with shooting of two movies including Bodiul Alam Khokon’s Maa Aamar Behestha now.
