Singer and popular presenter Alif Alauddin has been suffering from kidney complications for the last 10 years. Now, with 80 per cent of her kidneys damaged, her family is preparing for a transplant. Alif’s kidney complications are genetic. Her mother singer Salma Sultana died of kidney failure in 2016.
While sharing in this regard Alif said, “I didn’t tell anyone outside of my family about my battle with this disease. I tried to put on a happy face. But the way it has been deteriorating, made it harder to keep it a secret anymore… I want to live a little longer for my daughter.” -Entertainment Report
