Alauddin Ali to get lifetime achievement award

Country’s one of the noted music composers and directors Alauddin Ali is going to receive the lifetime achievement award today for the first time.
Shuvechchha Sangskritik Forum will give the award for the last 12 years contribution of this noted musician. This forum arranges a discussion meeting and award giving ceremony at the National Museum today.
Alauddin Ali will receive the award in the programme. Railway Minister Mujibul Haque will be present as chief guest in the programme.
While sharing his feeling in this regard Alauddin Ali told this correspondent, “I have informed about the Forum and its activities. I think this award is an expression of my contribution in the filed of music.”
It may be mentioned that as a music director, Alauddin Ali got the National Film Award three times at a time for movies Golapi Ekhon Trainey, Sundori and Kosai. Later he again got the award for five times.
Born on December 24 in 1952, Alauddin Ali got the Best Children Artist as a Behala player in 1964 in All Pakistan Children Competition. He started his career as a music director by Mir Mohammad Halim’s directed a movie titled Shondikshon in 1976 in the film industry.
