Legendary music director of the Subcontinent Alam Khan will turn into 75 today. But he has no plan to celebrate the day with any formality. Specially he remembers the day when her granddaughter Fatiha Azmi Khan came into this world. Today he along with her granddaughter will cut the cake at his residence in the city’s Mohammadpur’s Shekhertek area.
While talking about his birthday Alam Khan said, “It is really a matter how I have passed so many years of my life. Now I am not feeling well while travelling outside my residence. Therefore, my wife is sick so I have no plan to arrange any event on the occasion of my birthday. I will pass the day with my granddaughter. Everybody pray for me.”
It is noted that Alam Khan was born at her maternal grandmother’s house at Baniagati in Sirajganj.
His paternal grandfather’s residence is at Baro Basail in Tangail.
He got the National Film Award for first time for Mohiuddin directed movie Boro Bhalo Lok Chhilo. He last time got the award for ATM Shamsuzzaman’s movie Ebadat. Till now he got this award for seven times. Arman Khan and Adnan Khan are his two sons and only daughter Anika Khan.
