Awami League will announce its candidates for by-elections to Mymensingh 1 and 3 constituencies on June 16.
The decision was taken at the AL Parliamentary Board meeting held on Tuesday with Prime Minister and party chief Sheikh Hasina in the chair at her official residence Ganobhaban. The ALPB decided to interview the aspiring candidates at 3:30 pm on June 16 for finalising party nominations for the upcoming by-elections to Mymensingh-1 (Haluaghat-Dhobaura) and Mymensingh-3 (Gouripur).
Meanwhile, the AL started selling its nomination papers on Tuesday.
