Awami League will observe the Victory Day of Democracy on January 5 to mark the 3rd anniversary of general election on the day in 2014.
Victory procession will be brought out and rallies will be held at district, city and upazila levels to mark the day.
As part of the central programme, Dhaka City North Awami League will stage a public rally at Russell Square of Dhanmondi in the afternoon while Dhaka City South Awami League will stage another one in front of the party’s central office at Bangabandhu Avenue.Party central leaders will join the two rallies.
AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader urged all including leaders of the party and associate and like minded bodies to observe the day in a festive manner.
