Awami League will hold a public rally at Suhrawardy Udyan in the city on January 10 next, marking the historic Homecoming Day of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader announced the programme while talking to reporters after a meeting at Awami League President’s Dhanmandi political office on Monday.
The rally will begin at 2:30 pm, he said, adding that they will sit with the mayors of the two city corporations and MPs from Dhaka to make the rally a success.
