Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be given a grand reception by the ruling Awami League on July 21 for her glorious success as administrator.
“Our party chief and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be awarded grand reception for her glorious leadership capacity to improve the country’s status from Least Developed Country to developing country, for successfully sending Bangabandu-1 satellite in the space and achieving D-Lit degree from the Nazrul University in India,” The Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader
told it on Sunday in a press briefing after a joint meeting of the party held in its newly built central office building on the Bangabandhu Avenue.
The programme will be held at Suhrawardy Udyan on Saturday, 21 July, at 3:00pm, Obaidul Quader said.
The members of the central executive committee, leaders of the party’s Dhaka City units, president and general secretaries of the associate organizations of party and leaders of the adjacent districts of Dhaka attended the meeting.
Presidium member Dr Mohammad Abdur Razzaque, Sahara Khatun, Abdul Matin Khasru, Joint-General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif, central leaders Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, Biplab Barua and others attended the press briefing.
