President of Chittagong City Awami League unit and former Mayor ABM mohiuddin Chowdhury said, AL always ready to face the next political movement of BNP led alliance at any level.
He said BNP could not success any movement in the past and can’t expec t any success in future also. BNPis now a scattered party and detached from the mass , he added. He also said the much talked anti-govt movement of BNP wou’t be able to unite the peace-loving people of Bangladeh. He disclosed it in a press statement issued to different medias on Thursday .
About violence movement of the oppositions ,he said govt is committed to ensure the lives and properties of the people. Govt will take any measures to ensure security of the citizens, he added. Beside govt, party leaders , workers are ready to face any sorts of violence of the opposition BNP in field level, he said.
About dialogue with BNP before parliament election, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina invited opposition leader Begum Khaleda Zia for dialogue over national election before January 5 last but the opposition leader rejected that offer of PM rather she spread the violence and anarchy across the country.
He said last parliamentary election was held peaceful and the voters gave mandate to Prime Minister for further 5 years term through adult franchise.
