A poling agent of boat symbol stabbed by some muggers at Sutipur Bazar area in Jhikorgacha upazila of Jashore district on Sunday night.
The poling agent was identified as Abdul Matleb Sheikh (35) son of Hazrat Ali of Ganganandapur village of the upazila.
The injured Matleb Sheikh was at the center of the pooling agent of the Ganganandapur Secondary School. After returning to finish the poling work on Sunday night 10.00 pm. In the meantime, a group of unknown muggers stabbed him in the place of Sutipur Bazar, Later, In critical condition, he was admitted to Jessore Medical College Hospital .
The revel supporters of pineapple symbol to attacked and trying to kill him he added.
Abdur Rajjak , officer in charge , Jhikorgacha police station said, A case was filed with the police station and we are trying to arrest the criminals.
