Road Transport and Bridge Minister Obaidul Quader said if we stand by the flood victims the soul of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman would get peace.
He urged the leaders and activists of Awami League to stand by the flood victims with all efforts.
The minister said this on Saturday while speaking at a gathering at the Arich Belayet Hossain High School premises after distributing relief materials among the flood victims of Shibalaya upazila.
Obaidul Quader also asked the BNP not to play foul with the flood victims. The minister urged them to stand by the flood victims.
Zahangir Kabir Nanok, MP, AM Naimur Rahman Durjoy, MP, Awami League Central leader SM Kamal, Deputy Commissioner of Manikganj Rashida Ferdouse, Superintendent of Police (SP) Mahfuzur Rahman, Advocate Golam Mohiuddin, Administrator of Manikganj Zila Parishad and President of Manikganj District Awami League were present.
