AL leader’s body exhumed after four months of burial

The body of a local Awami League leader was exhumed from the grave on Wednesday afternoon after four months of burial after his daughter filed a case accusing four persons including second wife in Baraigram municipality of Natore district.
The body of Sheikh Yakub Ali Hira, 48, former Acting President of Baraigram Union Unit AL was exhumed for fresh autopsy following a court orders.Natore District Executive Magistrate Md Mortuza Khan was present at the time of exhumation.
Local and police sources said that Yakub Ali died of cardiac arrest on June 17 in this year .
But he was buried without autopsy as there was no allegation.
Ealier on August 29, the deceased’s daughter from first wife filed a murder case with a court accusing four persons including Yakub’s second wife Moutusi Akter Mukta, father in-law Rezaul Karim mother in-law Anzuman Begum.
In the case, she alleged that his father was suffocated by the above mentioned persons.
Ahsan Habib, Sub-Inspector of Baraigram Police Station confirmed the news to media that the body was sent to Natore Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
