Leaders and activists of Awami League and BNP are desperate to ensure the victory of their candidate in the Jatiya Sangsad by-election of Pabna-4 Constituency. For this, the central leaders are also working on behalf of the candidates of both the parties holding various programmes everyday.
On Monday afternoon, a view exchange meeting was organised on behalf of Ishwardi Upazila Mahila League at Narinetri Peer Bari in favour of boat candidate Nuruzzaman Biswas. Pabna District Awami League Women’s Secretary Mahjebin Shirin Peer presided over the function and Awami League Central Executive Committee member Professor Marina Jahan Kabita addressed the function as the chief guest.
Leaders of Pabna District Women’s League and Ishwardi Upazila Women’s League including Sabina Yasmin also spoke.
On the other hand, former Minister Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu, central leader Sirajul Islam Sardar, former MP Selim Reza Habib, former Municipal Mayor Aminul Islam and Atiyar spoke at a home meeting organised by BNP leader Zakaria Pintu at Brothers Club in the city to mark the victory of the paddy sheaf candidate Habibur Rahman Habib, Chairman, former Acting General Secretary of Municipal BNP SM Fazlur Rahman, BNP leader Ataur Rahman Pata, acting president of Municipal Juba Dal Akhter Hossain Nipa, general secretary Zakir Hossain Jewel. Aman Ullah Aman were also present.
