Md Shahe Alam , former president of Bangladesh Chhatra League and an aspirant MP candidate of ruling Bangladesh Awami League (AL) in Barishal-2 constituency comprising Banaripara-Uzirpur has started his polls campaign on Thursday ahead of next 11th National Parliament election .
Shahe Alam along with a good number of party leaders and supporters with six microbuses and over 400 motor bikes brought out a huge rally .
The rally was held at different areas of Ujirpur, and Banaripara Municipalities and unions of Gutia, Shikarpur, Bamrail, Sholok, Jolla, Satla, Harta, Saliabakpur, Chakhar under the constituency. Hundreds of males and females greeted him waving their hands standing both sides of the road. He also exchanged greetings with the people and look after their wellbeing.
During this showdown, Shahe Alam urged the people to cast their votes at the symbol of boat to keep trend of the development of the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shiekh Hasina in the upcoming polls. He also pleaded the party activists and supporters to remain united against all conspiracies.
AL Vice-president of Banaripara Upazila AKM Yusuf Ali and Advocate Mahmud Hossain Makhon, Sports Secretary Zahid Hossain Jewel , AL Municipality President Subrato Lal Kunddu, agriculturist Dr Khorshed Alam, Convener of Upazila Krishak League MA Wahab, former UP chairman of Bisharkandi Mamun- Ur Rashid, AL leaders Shamsul Alam, Manir Biswas, Khalek Azad, Abdul Halim, Advocate Morsheda Parvin among others were present in the showdown.
