Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB), an association of Government License holder Hajj Agencies.
Under the agreement HAAB will now use the online banking facilities of the branches of Al-Arafah Islami Bank. The Hajjis who want to pilgrim the Holy Kaaba can also use the special banking services.
The MOU was signed between Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited and HAAB on Wednesday at the Board Room of the bank.
Md. Habibur Rahman, Managing Director of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. and Mohammad Ibrahim Bahar, President of HAAB signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Director of the Bank Alhajj Abdul malek Mollah was present as special guest.
Md. Mofazzal Hossain, Company Secretary, Kazi Towhidul Alam, Deputy Managing Director, Md. Abdul Jalil, Deputy Managing director, S M Jaffar, Deputy Managing Director, Md. Abul Hossain, Senior Vice President, S M Kowsar, Senior Vice President, C G M Asaduzzaman, Vice President, Jalal Ahmed, Vice President of Al-Arafah Islami Bank and Mohammad Helal, Senior Vice President, Mozammel Hossain Kamal, Joint Secretary General and Fazlul Wahab Mamun, Finance Secretary of the HAAB were present in the signing ceremony.
With the new understanding HAAB will use the banking facilities of Al-Arafah Islami Bank. The Bank will also provide special services to the Hajjis who want to visit the Holy Kaaba with its dedicated service desk named ‘Hajj Service Desk’. The Bank also will introduce a new ‘Hajj Card’ for the pilgrims.
