Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd, opened its 126th branch at Azadi Bazar, Chittagong. Addressing as the chief guest, Chairman of KDS Group and President of Chittagong Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industries Alhajj Khalilur Rahman inaugurated the branch on Thursday, said a press release. He said, the bank is established not for making profit, but for the welfare of the society. Managing Director of the bank, Md. Habibur Rahman presided over the ceremony. He said, the bank is dedicated for boosting the economy. Deputy Managing Director Kazi Towhidul Alam and Head of Chittagong Zone Mohammad Mujibul Kader were also present among others.
