Pacer Al-Amin Hossain took the top spot in 2016 bagging 22 wickets from 14 Twenty20 matches. Hossain grabbed 11 wickets in five matches in the Asia Cup T20. But he could gain eight wickets in seven matches in the ICC World Twenty20.
Ravichandran Ashin of India obtained second position claiming 21 wickets in 15 matches. Famous all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan secured the third position grabbing 20 wickets from 16 matches. Jasprit Bumrah of India took the fourth spot with 19 wickets from as many outings. Amjad Javed of United Arab Emirates took the fifth position getting 18 wickets from 10 matches.
Al-Amin Hossain picked up 39 wickets playing 25 Twenty20 matches.
