Bollywood’s made quite a mark on the International box office with Dangal earning a whooping Rs. 1200 crores in China. Not lagging far behind, Baahubali 2 became the first Indian film to cross Rs. 1500 crores and it is yet to release in China. With speculations of Baahubali’s hitting the screens in China in December, the real deal is the upcoming competition 2.0
With superstar Rajinikanth collaborating with the action hero Akshay Kumar, we could not be more thrilled about 2.0 releasing in theatres soon. The sequel to the 2010 blockbuster Ethiran (Robot), 2.0 is going to mark Akshay Kumar’s debut in Tamil films and you can imagine the buzz the film is already creating.
What’s more intriguing is the news of the release of 2.0 in China. Sources tell us that the film will be dubbed in Chinese and will be released in 10,000 to 15,000 screens in China. Now, that’s a crazy number right there.
Here’s hoping for greater films and bigger releases for the Indian films on a global scale.
