The man behind the super hit and classic films like Tanu Weds Manu, Raanjhana and Tanu Weds Manu Returns director Aanand L Rai is one of the finest and promising filmmakers of Bollywood.
Rai’s next film is going to be extra special as it brings together Akshay Kumar, Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan for the first time in a romantic musical.
Titled Atrangi Re, the film will be an A R Rehman musical which was announced a while ago with the teaser making the fans go crazy.
Now, good news is that the Bhushan Kumar production has finally gone on floors today. Kumar told the fans with an Instagram post from the muhurat puja of Atrangi Re.
The teaser of Atrangi Re had generated a lot of curiosity among the fans of Akshay, Dhanush, and Sara. The film marks the second collaboration of Rai with Dhanush after Raanjhana and his first with Khiladi Kumar and Sara Ali Khan as the fans look forward to seeing what the trio brings on the screens.
Directed by Aanand L Rai the film will be produced by Bhushan Kumar and Anand Rai in a joint venture. Going on the floors today Atrangi Re is scheduled to release on February 14, 2021 on the occasion of Valentine’s Day.
