To perform as a model in the advertisement of bkash, Akhi Afroz has come into limelight recently. Though there was only her still smiling face took place in the advertisement but that attracted everybody’s attention.
Despite working in the small screen Akhi had intention to work in the big screen. Director Nurul Alam Atik has extended his hands towards her to fulfill Akhi’s dream.
Under Atik’s direction, Akhi worked in a movie titled Peyarar Subash. She played the role of Baby Tesky in the movie.
While talking about the movie Akhi Afroz told this correspondent, “I have finished dubbing works of the movie on Tuesday. It is an exceptional story based movie. In fact, it is a life-oriented story based film. I have tried my level best to perform my role. Viewers will give their judgment after watching this.”
Akhi did not confirm when this movie will be released but she is waiting for its release.
In small screen, Akhi started her career through Gias Uddin Selim directed serial Rode. Later she worked under Sumon Anwar, Safayet Mansur Rana, Imraul Rafat, Taher Shipon, Himel Ashraf, Shamim Zaman’s directions. She also worked in BBC serial Ujan Ganger Naiya.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Fitr, Akhi acted in Shamim Zaman’s play Chutki Bhandar-3 and Abu Hayat Mahmud’s direction against Chanchal Chowdhury in seven-episode Eid serial titled Lojjaboti Laila-ke Niye Zulfiqar-er Chamak. Therefore, on the occasion of Eid, she will also work in two or three more plays, she mentioned.
Akhi Afroz is now acting in Ezaz Munna’s Astha, Bappi’s Gulbahar and Noim Imtiaz Neyamul’s Kagojer Phul serials.
Born on December 10, Akhi Afroz was hailed from Tilakpur of Joypurhat.
