All cricket competitions have been postponed due to coronavirus outbreak. So, the cricket critics and cricket lovers have passed their times to discuss about the cricket related topics. Somebody has selected the World XI of all time; somebody has chosen the World XI for different formats.
Former opening batsman of India and noted commentator Akash Chopra has revealed his World XI for Twenty20 International format.
International Cricket Council (ICC) told Akash to disclose the World XI for T20I format according to his selection. ICC gave him a condition that Akash should form the World XI by collecting one cricketer from one country. Thus Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma could not take place in Akash Copra’s World XI for T20I format.
Akash has chosen David Warner of Australia and Jos Buttler of England as the opening batsmen. Colin Munro of New Zealand is the one-down, while Babar Azam of Pakistan is the second-down and AB de Villiers Villiers of South Africa is the third-down.
Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh and Andre Russell of West Indies have got chances as all-rounders. Shakib is the Number-6 batsman, while Andre Russell is the Number-7 batsman.
Akash Chopra has chosen two leg spinners. One is Rashid Khan of Afghanistan and other is Sandeep Lamichhane of Nepal.
The commentator has selected two pacers. One is Jasprit Bumrah of India and other is Lasith Malinga of Sri Lanka.
