An orientation program for newly enrolled students of undergraduate and graduate programs for the Spring Semester 2017-2018 of American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) was held on Monday at AIUB permanent campus at Kuril in the capital. AIUB Vice Chancellor Dr Carmen Z Lamagna chaired the orientation program and gave her valuable speech for newly admitted students. Deans of the four faculties also spoke on this occasion. The Director of (Student Affairs) welcomed the new students and presented the methods of teaching, the formation of courses, and examination of results, rules and regulation of the university.
Registrar, department heads, directors, teachers, student and guardians were present on the orientation program. The program ended with a cultural show performed by the AIUB performing Arts club and the famous band singer Minar. The program was organized by Office of Student’s Affairs (OSA), AIUB headed by Nadia Anwar, Founder and Vice president (Student Affairs).
