Campus Report :The American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) arranged a daylong cultural program on 14th April 2014 to mark the Benagli New Year 1421 at Banani Club Field in the city. AIUB Architecture Department arranged a grand Boishakhi Rally with colorful paintings and masks from Campus-7 and it passed through all campuses till it ended at Banani Club Field. Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Pro-Vice Chancellor of AIUB inaugurated the programme. Deans of the Faculties, teachers, students and high officials among others foreign dignitaries were also present on the occasion. Daylong program was presented with band song, baul song and Nagar Dola and folks fusion.Stalls of various local traditional items and foods were setup. The Mela was open for all quarters of people. Band Shunno, Dalchut, LRB, Baul and the AIUB Performing Arts Club (APAC) performed songs in the function.
