The final airport emergency exercise will be held at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) here at 3pm on January 12. Director of the airport Wing Commander Mohammad Zakir Hossain said all preparations have been completed to hold the exercise and entire security measures have been further strengthened marking the exercise. He said while addressing a view-exchange with different agencies at the airport’s Number-1 Terminal Bhaban conference room. Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh organised the view-exchange. Major Shoaib Rahman of Bangladesh Army Headquarters, Fire Service and Civil Defence Deputy Director Md Mozammel Haque, General Manager of Airport Service, Biman Bangladesh Airlines Atiq Sohrab, Airport Customs Assistant Commissioner Al Amin and Airport Armed Police Battalion ASP Nur-e-Alam Siddiqui were present on the occasion, among others.
