Youth and Sports Ministry in a press release issued on Sunday appointed Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Abu Esrar, BBP, ndc, acsc as the new president of Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF).
It was further said in a press release that Youth and Sports Ministry appointed the BHF president in exercise of the powers conferred under section 20 of the National Sports Council Act of 1974 (amendment ordinance 1976).
