Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Abu Esrar will return home today from China after an official visit.
During his stay in China, he attended “International Flying Training Conference” from 30 to 31 October 2016 and “11th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition” from 01 to 02 November 2016 at Jhuhai, an ISPR release said here on Thursday.
The training conference ran with the theme “Talent Innovation Collaboration Development” while Air Force leaders of more than 40 countries including 10 Air Force Commanders attended the event.
The exhibition showcased various 4th and 5th generation weapon systems.
The event was in flying colour with spectacular aerobatic display by PLA Air Force ‘August 1st’, Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team ‘RED ARROWS’ and ‘Russian Knight’ Aerobatic Team.
Abu Esrar extensively interacted with the other Air Force commanders on common issues and had a bilateral meeting with PLAAF Commander General Ma
Xiaotion on military cooperation between Bangladesh and China at Air Force
level.
He left Dhaka for China for an official visit on October 27.
