An air bomb has been recovered from the Cox’s Bazar Airport. It was found at the west side of the airport at about 5:00 pm on Monday during renovation work there.
The labourers found the air bomb. Later, they informed the matter to the airport authorities, said Sadhon Kumar Mohonto, manager of the Cox’s Bazar Airport.
On information, police rushed to the spot and removed the bomb from the airport authorities.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Cox’s Bazar Sadar Police Station Aslam Hossain told the journalists that they would send the air bomb to the Army for examining it.
