Allrounder Nasir Hossain said his team is not in back foot position rather they would focus their bating on the whole third day for to reach a better position.
He was talking to the pressmen at a post match press conference held on Wednesday at the Zahur Ahmd Chowdhury Stadium here.
“We are not in back foot position now . we’ll be a good position if we able to bat well on the whole third day,” said the all rounder at a post match press conference.
The right handed batsman said now their main aim would be to remain calm on the third day to stretch the innings as along as can.
Nasir said they are really disappointed by the injury of their captain Mushfiq, who received little finger injury during the first day’s play.
“Undoubtedly he (Mushfiq) is a key wicket keeper in our team .. His absence on the day cost misses some catches by the occasion wicket keeper Shamsur Rahman. But we hope that we’ll get him today (third day).”
Asked his feeling after taking Sangakkara’s wicket, Nasir said felt very good after taking his wicket as he is a very good batsman.
