Additional Inspector General of Police and Rector of Police Staff College Rowshan Ara, who was killed in a road crash in Congo on Monday, was laid to eternal rest here on Thursday.
She was buried by the grave of her mother at Azimpur Graveyard following third namaz-e-janaja after Zohr prayers at Rajarbagh Police Lines.
Earlier, her body arrived in the capital in the early hours. A Turkish Airways flight, carrying the body, landed at Dhaka airport around 5am, said AIG (Media) of Police Headquarters Md Sohel Rana.
Her first namaz-e-janaza was held at Moghbazar Noatola Jame Mosque around 10am.
The second janaza was held at Moghbazar Wireless Jame Mosque around noon, said Rana.
