A remittance agreement has been signed between AL-Arafah Islami Bank Limited (AIBL) & TRANSFAST Remittance LLC, USA, a leading Global Money Transfer Company, on Wednesday in the city.
Managing Director of the Bank Md. Habibur Rahman was present as chief guest in the signing ceremony while Director Alhajj Abdul Malek Mollah was present as Special Guest. Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Md. Abdul Jalil and Country Head of TRANSFAST Remmitance Mohammad Khairuzzaman signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Among others, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Muhammad Mahmoodul Haque, Senior Vice President Md. Abul Hossain, Vice Presidents Md. Azharul Islam, Jalal Ahmed, Assistant Managers of TRANSFAST Remittance Farhana Kashfi Zahir and Farzana Alam along with other delegates from both organizations were present in the ocassion.
Managing Director Md. Habibur Rahman, said in his speech, with the help of this agreement procurement of foreign remittance sent by Bangladeshi expatriates will be fast and easier to avail.
He also said, beneficiaries of foreign remittance can able to get the remittance from any branch & agent outlets of AIBL countrywide sent by the Bangladeshi expatriates residing across the globe.
