Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited on Saturday distributed scholarships to a total of 200 meritorious and underprivileged students, who passed Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent exams in 2018.
The ceremony was held at Officers Club Dhaka where Governor of Bangladesh Bank Fazle Kabir was present as Chief Guest who handed over the Scholarships to the students, said a press release.
Chairman of the Bank Alhajj Abdus Samad Labu presided over the ceremony and Managing Director and CEO Farman R Chowdhury delivered the welcome speech.
