Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. opens its 137th branch at Chawkbazar, Chittagong on 17 August 2016, according to a press release.
Chairman of the Bank Abdus Samad (Labu) inaugurated the branch as Chief Guest. Chairman of KDS Group and President, Chittagong Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industries Khalilur Rahman was present as Guest of Honor.
Managing Director Md. Habibur Rahman presided over the ceremony while Directors of the Bank Hafez Md. Enayet Ullah, Anowar Hossain, Dr. Shafiul Haidar Chowdhury and Deputy Managing Director S. M. Jaffar were present as Special Guests.
Head and Executive Vice President of AIBL Chittagong Zone Muhammad Mujibul Quader delivered the welcome speech. The occasion was addressed by prominent businessmen Md. Kamal Uddin and Golam Haidar Mintu. Among others Senior Vice President Engr. Md. Habib Ullah and Vice President Jalal Ahmed were present in the inauguration.
