Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd opens its 135th branch at Polashbari, Gaibandha on Monday. Director of the Bank Engr. Kh. Mesbah Uddin Ahmed inaugurated the branch as Chief Guest. Managing Director Md. Habibur Rahman presided over the ceremony, says a press release.
Head of AIBL Bogra Zone Md. Abul Basher delivered the welcome speech. The occasion was addressed by Imam of Polashbari Central Mosqeue Moulana Md. Mustafizur Rahman Raja, Officer In-charge of Polashbari Police Station Md. Majibur Rahman, President of leather business association Md. Abtab Uddin Mollah and president of upajila Awami League Md. Abu Bakar Siddique.
Among others Senior Vice President Engr. Md. Habib Ullah and Vice President Jalal Ahmed were present in the inauguration. A large number of local peoples, businessmen, clients and well-wishers participated on the program. Manager of the branch Md. Hasan Ali thanked the audience.
Chief Guest Engr. Kh. Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, in his speech, said Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd was established not for making profit by doing business but only for the welfare of the society.
Managing Director Md. Habibur Rahman, in his speech, invited all to have the blessings of Islamic banking service. He also said, only Islamic banking system can boost-up the economy of the country.
