Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited (AIBL) has launched mobile banking service “Hello Cash”, on Sunday under which any telecom operators can get banking services anytime from anywhere in Bangladesh.
AIBL is the 20th bank that launched the mobile banking service in the country, officials said.
Bangladesh Bank (BB) Deputy Governor Naznin Sultana inaugurates the ‘Hello Cash’ at a ceremony held at a city hotel with AIBL Chairman Badiur Rahman in the chair.
Vice Chairman SM Shameem Iqbal and Managing Director Md Habibur Rahman were also addressed in it.
Al-Arafah Islami Bank Hello Cash offers different services that include free opening of customer account quickly, deposition and withdrawal of cash money, fund transfer from one account to another, sending remittance from abroad, knowing account balance and mini-statement, giving and receiving salary, mobile top-up (recharge), payment of utility bill and fund transaction among AIBL accounts.
Congratulating the AIBL for launching mobile banking service using its own software, Naznin hoped that AIBL would gain the first position in mobile banking service very soon. AIBL’s in-house software will save the foreign currencies, She said.
