Syed Ahsan Ali has joined Bangladesh Water Development Board as Additional Director General (Planning) on 1st February 2015.
Prior, he was Chief Engineer (Hydrology) in BWDB. He joined BWDB as an Assistant Engineer (Civil) in 1980 and worked as Executive Engineer, Superintending Engineer/Project Director, Additional Chief Engineer & Chief Engineer in different important project of BWDB.
He got his graduation in Civil Engineering from BUET in the year 1979.
He has received training from India, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
